PREPARATION FOR YOUR JOURNEY

You have just received the visa from the Australian embassy or consulate office where you live. Now is the time to plan for your departure.

You need to take the following documents (originals and official translations if applicable) with you to Australia:
  • Official passport and visa (don't forget to carry a photocopy of these in your wallet during travelling).

  • Letter of offer from UPC and other communications (including receipts, etc.) and instructions from UPC.

  • English test results (IELTS, TOEFL or others) if any.

  • Certified copies of academic transcripts, awards and certificates.

  • Official copies and/or original of birth certificate, drivers' license, medical check results, immunization certificates.

  • Receipts of valuable items you bring to Australia (camera, computer, etc.) as the Australian Customs might impose import duties for those not considered as for personal use.

Make a List
Instructions for traveling to Australia are given by Australian government representatives on their websites in the country where you live. Please check the strict guidelines on quarantine and customs as there are severe penalties for breaking these rules, whether deliberately or by accident. Ignoring the declaration of food brought into Australia will result in expensive fines at the airport.
